Exploring Lewis Library…
Lewis Library includes the new building and contiguous space on A and B floors of Fine Hall referred to as Lewis Library Fine Hall Wing.
Lewis has two entrances -- one on the 1st floor of Lewis and one on A-Floor of Fine Hall Wing (formerly Fine Hall Library.) There are Information Desks at both locations.
The Lewis print collections are primarily located on Lewis Library A-Floor and Fine Hall Wing A floor. These spaces are connected.
The Map Room and the Digital Map and Geospatial Information (GIS) Center are located on Fine Hall B-Floor and may be accessed via the Fine Hall Tower elevator. Plans are underway for enlarging and upgrading the space for these facilities by renovating space on B-Floor. Until this is completed, the entrance to these facilities is through Fine Hall Annex.
Public rest rooms are located on each floor of Lewis Library.
Study tables and carrels have power and data connections. Wireless connectivity is available throughout the building.
Public document workstations with both MACs and PCs are available on Lewis 1st floor in the Tech Room (near the entrance) and on the 3rd floor. Scanners and network printers are also available there.
There are 29 carrels (on A, 3rd and 4th floors) and 104 lockers (on 3rd and 4th floors). These may be reserved. Preference will be given to undergraduate majors in the sciences. Contact pentin@princeton.edu for reservations.
There are 9 group study rooms (on 3rd and 4th floors). These are available for groups to use on a first come, first served basis, but they may also be reserved for short periods. Contact pentin@princeton.edu for reservations.
